The chapter on illness and death was very interesting. Angela Robinson started out wth the goal of ensuring undergraduate level students learn and understand about the history, lives, and traditions of the Mi 'Kmaq of Nova Scotia and the religions they practice there. Robinson succeeded at completing her goal with her book T 'an Teli-ktlamsitasit ( Ways of Believing ), it is an informative and educational read though it 's tough at times to navigate. It 's a book that wouldn 't be recommended for anyone below the undergraduate level to read unless there was a burning desire to know more about the Mi 'Kmaw society of Eskasoni, Nova Scotia because it is not an easy read. I have never read a book remotely like it, and have no comparison to judge it against but it was an informative and educational read that I got a lot from. Overall Robinson did an excellent job teaching students about a society few people know much about and ensuring that people know about their traditions and lifestyles, both from her point of view and from the members of the Mi ' Kmaw society of Esakasoni, Nova
