There are four segments that Rock Jam considers when they plan on expanding their market, and they are:
• Geographic Segments - Rock Jam uses this technique to spread out their markets/branches. They are segmented by area, cities, counties, countries, regions and other international regions. Or it can be breakdown in to smaller such as suburban, rural and urban areas.
• Demographic Segments – We use this to segment the people according to age, race, gender, religion, family size and education.
• Institutional Segments – Using institutional segments the governments, housing, welfare groups and education places are considered.

Rock Jam uses Product Development as a means of growing by developing new products. These new products are introduced by Salespersons. With these new products the company can gain the interest of customers. Products such as:
