Swot Analysis For Red Lobster

Red lobster is one of the world’s most famous casual/family seafood restaurants. It is been a staple of downtown Silver Spring’s eclectic dining community for more than 15 years. It is located just 10 minutes away from the Silver Spring Metro station, which allows the restaurant to have easy access to parking and transportation. Since downtown Silver Spring is a social and cultural melting pot, many different demographics have eaten at Red Lobster; however, I would say their main target market is definitely families and people between the ages of 29 to 55.
For me, personally, Red Lobster is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. One of the main strengths of the restaurant is its price range. All of the menu items are between $15 and $25 depending on the size of the meal or the amount of individual items that are ordered. Red lobster’s biggest up-selling menu selection is arguably the four course meal special. This combo consist of a salad, your choice of soup, choice of seafood platter and a dessert option for a grand total of only $15. This kind of offering definitely shows that the management team

For starters, space we will turn their weaknesses into a strength. Since we are attempting to appeal to a younger demographic, our bar and menu selections will include hard liquor drinks for those customers who have a photo ID. In my opinion, red lobster’s single biggest weakness is its limited scope and lack of opportunity for expansion. They simply do not have crossover appeal. This is why I suggested that our restaurant incorporate the use of games and activities in hopes of widening our reach and giving our customers that little bit of extra value for their money.
