Super Power In Macbeth

Super powers and supernatural aspects are both expressed in Macbeth through various events and mannerisms. Macbeth struggles and interacts with many supernatural entities. They have a lasting effect on his decisions and judgement. Before Macbeth was named the thane of Glamis and Cawdor he was greeted by three witches. These witches pull the strings of life throughout Shakespeare’s story. In the story Macbeth ordered two of his men to locate and assassinate Banquo and his son. Their death would further solidify Macbeth’s place as king. The ascalences were successful in killing Banquo, but failed to kill his son. Later that day Macbeth hosted a dinner on his victory with his wife and Officers, when the dinner was interrupted by Banquo’s ghost. Macbeth’s personality and character fluctuate throughout the entire play. In the beginning Macbeth is but a soldier doing his duty to his Kingdom. After he smites the thane of Glamis he and Banquo are approached by three witches with poison tongues. They poisoned his ears with the intent to kill. The witches told him he would be “King above all” while Banquo was told he would be “Less but greater, a father of Kings.” Macbeth’s Envy swelled inside his soul. When some super heroes or villains take on huge amounts of damage or stress they can potential become unstable or nuclear. Macbeth’s shifting personality could be a side effect to the telepathic super power. As stated in roserundown, the side effect of telepathy is hearing the thought of others. Telepaths also feel the emotions of others and can control the actions of others.
