I recently watched a documentary called “The Scars of Stop-and-Frisk”. The documentary walked viewers into the life of a typical african american male named Tyquan. Before Tyquan could reach 18 years of age, he was stopped inexcusably by police officers over 60 times. On multiple instances when he asked why he was stopped he got handcuffed and put in a cell for multiple hours.(By JULIE DRESSNER and EDWIN MARTINEZ) 2012 This only caused Tyquan to try to avoid the police by any means, do to the fact that he felt that he life was in danger whenever he has a interaction with them.. She was asked to put her hands up, turn around and slowly walked towards the officers while a gun was drawn out on her. The girl was then handcuffed by the officers while crying. (News 8) 2017.This situation occurred because the police were in pursued of a possible homicide suspect. One must ask themself if the officer reacted to the 11 year old girl appropriately. If the police could draw their weapon on unarmed 11 year old girl what else are they capable
