Shirking in a group should not be tolerated at any time or at any place. We as Americans maybe more individualistic; nonetheless, groups are designed for a strategic purpose. These purposes include but are not limited to dissecting a complex project between individuals, and pitching ideas to solve a major conflict. A group cannot be one hundred percent efficient and effective if one or more of their colleagues is shirking; it will defeat the purpose of the group, and rob the group of its diverse and rich ideas. Here in the U.S. we have complex project that mandates dissection by a group, and here in the U.S. we have conflicts that can be assess or evaluated much more efficient and effective by a group.
