Guglielmo Marconi was an inventor from Bologna, Italy. In 1901, Marconi received the first transatlantic radio message on Signal Hill in St. John's, Newfoundland.
4. Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills get schooled about the seal hunt.
In Spring 2006, former premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, Danny Williams, had a debate about Canada's annual seal hunt with Heather Mills and Sir Paul McCartney on Larry King Live. Apparently, Paul didn't know the difference between Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island. Also, Danny Williams totally educated Paul and Heather on the seal hunt.
