These contemplations made me feel that everything I did in my life was nothing. I decided to talk to my friend about this because I was too terrified to enlighten my parents about the thoughts I was having. Initially, my friend was shocked and had no clue what to say. After a few days passed, he came up with this idea which was to compose a list of everything that was important to me and everything that made me considering about killing myself. After that, he gave me the box with suicidal thoughts in it, and instructed me to pick up one piece of paper at a time and read it out loud then tore it up after. Furthermore, he gave me the box with what was essential to me and instructed me to peruse the notes out loud and after that, put them back in the box. Additionally, he said, “The things that are important to you will always outweigh those negative thoughts.” Finally, he informed me to keep this box where I can always go over those paper notes whenever I feel myself depressed. It can be things that we are stressed about such as work or school. Regardless of whatever the pressure might be, it is great enough to crush down a person’s mentality.
