Stillwater, Okla.--The West Virginia University baseball team came from behind to beat No. 23 Oklahoma State 5-3 in extra innings on Saturday afternoon at t Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
The Mountaineers (14-10) scored two runs in the ninth to tie the game 3-3 and scored to in the 10th to take the lead.
Sophomore Cole Austin had three hits and drove in three runs. Kyle Gray and Ivan Gonzalez each picked up two hits.
Braden Zarbnisky (3-0) picked up the win for WVU. He pitched 1.2 scoreless frames, fanning three. Also, the sophomore scored the game-winning run.
Garrett McCain went 2-for-3 for the Cowboys (16-10). Cole Hearrean (0-2) suffered the loss.
In the fourth inning, Oklahoma State jumped out to a 3-0 lead. With two outs, back-to-back singles
