There are many hidden realities in a person’s life, misconceptions about everyone’s behaviors and actions, but yet there is a meaningful story behind it all. Stereotypes are exaggerated mental images and assumptions about how each member of a group has identical characteristics. While, misconceptions are fault accusations based on misunderstandings such as, false opinions and attitudes towards those classes of human beings. However, both stereotypes and misconceptions are used to categorize communities in today's society. Everyone is judged on appearances and actions, whether anyone likes it or not, just the bad parts are noticed the most. Although these perceptions can be bad there are also good perceptions out there. Many classes of people are linked together for similarities but are judged only on the group each person is in. Attemptions of suicide are as common as committing suicide. Many people try to attempt it for many reasons, such as being mentally incapacitated, this includes depressions. Depression is an illness from the mind and tons of individuals may have it. This next person has attempted suicide for the reason she couldn’t handle a situation. Yet, there is more, she was raped and did not know how to deal with it or tell her mother. When she was seventeen she layed down on tracks and 33 freight train cars went over her and still she survived. Kristen Anderson was interviewed on The 700 Club and on WISN by Joyce Garbaciak and Zsa Zsa Palagyi, to tell her story. Her mother wished that she would have told her about her rape and probably wouldn’t have attempted suicide. She had said if her mother would have asked her if anyone touched her she would have been comfortable telling her.
