But most people tend to forget that he is only 6”2. Curry influences young guards who are small to keep playing the game that they love. Curry, being 6”2 is showing other people that you can be anything you want in life as long as you put your mind to it. Because Curry showed young players how to battle through early career injuries, changed the way the game of basketball is played with his three point shot, and did not let people telling him he is undersized stop him, Stephen Curry is an influential person. Curry at one point even thought of quitting basketball because of the excessive amount of early ankle injuries. He pushed through it and now players like Chet Holmgran are influenced by him to keep playing despite a brutal early career injury. Stephen Curry is the world's finest marksman.
