The show sold out often as it gained admirablility from children seeking out to see their very first play. As an actor, however, the show become very repetitive towards the end because of how positive and the fact it is geared towards children it was. Some of my favorite moments during the show had to be when the actors would ad-lib lines. Something that the audience doesn’t get to experiene as much is when actors make up new lines on the spot. This was especially common with the adult actors. For example, in a scene when all of the characters are lining up for the song “Which Way to the Well” this happened most often. First BoBo would say something like, “Ladies first!”, to which MiMi would quietly say, “Melon’s Second”, and the Toms would say, “Chivarly is dead!”. It was that kind of sponntanous lines that would keep the show fresh for the actors and gain a chuckle from any audience members who caught on. There were not really any moments that confused me, except for when I worked with the other cast for switches. If the show is revived again I would definitly reccomend it to family and friends because the show has such a good message that is displayed in such an entertaining and unique
