A. Good morning!
B. Have any of you as a child ever wanted to become a super hero? Or maybe have a few super hero powers? Super strength? Super speed? Super senses? Well what if I told you that in the year 2017 you will be able to get super human Vision! Yea that’s right dump your contacts, trash your glasses, and put those 4 eyed jokes into extinction!

C. A new invention called the Ocumetric Bionic Lens will solve all your vision needs. This invention is important to me because I suffer from Myopia which is a fancy term for nearsightedness, and I believe this will be the cure to my problem.

D. After becoming frustrated from several pairs of broken glasses, and a highly expensive annual fee of 200$ to get contacts, I decided to do some research for a permanent solution. It was then when I came across an article on the Ocumetric Bionic Lens. After reading the details on the lens and the procedure, I became fascinated and have been spending weeks researching the lens. Today I would like to enlighten you all on this captivating invention, known as the Ocumetric Bionic Lens.

F. First, I’m going to give you some information on the inventor, next I will discuss facts on the lens, and lastly explain how the bionic lens will impact our lives in a positive way.

A. Let me introduce you to the inventor of the Ocumetric Bionic Lens
1. According to the website Vancoversun, Dr. Garth Webb is a British Columbian Optometrist
a. He’s spent 8 years and over 3 million dollars in funding to develop his new lens
b. Garth started wearing glasses at the age of 8 or so, and of course he hated them
C. he idolized cowboys at a young age but he felt as though he could never be one because he wore glasses. Stated by Garth “My heroes are cowboys, and cowboys just did not wear glasses.”
d. By the time he turned 45 he still had problems with reading glasses, like a lot of other people do. He found it to be a great insult. As well as the glasses, he wore contacts and he thought they were an utter pain too.
e. Since the age of 8 up until 45 he has been frustrated with his glasses, contacts, and overall vision, and that is what “fuelled his obsession to free himself and others from corrective lenses” (Camille Bains the Canadian press.) Now that you know more on Dr. Webb and why he invented the lens B. Let’s explore some major facts on the lens. 1. You will get super human vision! a. According to Webb, you will be able to see three times better than 20/20 vision b. If you can barely see a clock from 10 feet away, after getting the bionic lens you will be able to see a clock from 30 feet away – states Webb 2. The lens is designed to replace the eyes natural lens (Kedmy D. time) a. As reported by the website Yoibada the lens is made of a substance that won’t lead to a biophysical change within the eye 3. Webb recommends getting the 8 minute procedure done at the age of 25 a. At this age your eyes are fully developed b. During the procedure the custom made lens will be folded like a taco in a saline filled syringe c. then it will be placed in the eye, and unravel itself within 10 seconds d. after the lens unravels the patient’s sight
