Humans are expected to travel to Mars in 2030 for the first time, guided by NASA’s hand. In the article, “Do You Have What it Takes to Colonize Mars? NASA Might Need You” and “America Will Take the Giant Leap to Mars” both authors write about NASA’s future plans of going to space. NASA also said the space mission would not be carried out though if there wasn 't proper safety measures. Space missions could be the turning point of history, but do the risks outweigh the benefits?
Our space missions can change how we live our lives on Earth. In 2030 NASA plans on launching a mission to Mars, but they need people educated to operate and undertake the space missions. Barack Obama from, “America Will Take the Giant Leap to Mars” …show more content…
Space can push humanity towards better education. Using the STEM education system, (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) we can create a better field of workers capable for a space career. Even if we increase the education for a small part of the population, many will still not even have any type of education. We should worry about our world and not how to further our lives on a different one if we haven’t made the best of the world we occupy. Furthermore, the rocketry type, (thermal rocketry) is the same from what we used over 50 years ago. The idea of thermal rocketry isn’t that bad, it’s the expenses associated with it. Some rockets use unimaginable amounts of fuel for missions closer to Earth than Mars. Multiple space companies have billions of dollars towards their development and are still asking for more, even though we could use that money for more pressing issues in our world. Even though STEM may not solve all of our problems, the results of what kind of people they are creating may. NASA has planned to go to Mars in 2030 and have planned for future generations to do astounding things. Ways to make another world have oxygen, which could help us discover even deeper into the ocean or how to survive in different environments. Space is an endless mystery just like the ways it can affect Earth. Good or bad space will influence our future more than we could have
