Southern Baptist, United Methodist, and Church of God holds a certain amount of similarity, yet they have a major difference in what they believe is the true plan of salvation. The Southern Baptist sect believes that once someone is saved and their name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, they are saved forever. The United Methodist denomination believes that one can lose their salvation. The Church of God denomination also believes that one can lose their salvation. The Southern Baptist denomination is in line with the word of God, in that a person’s sin does not damn their soul to hell, if they believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. The Southern Baptist denomination believes that the way a Christian lives, his character, or his attitude has nothing to do with the salvation of his soul. The Word of God does not assert a clause that God will delete someone’s name from the Lamb’s Book of Life. Therefore the Southern Baptist faith holds their doctrine true to the Word of
