Based on the readings, I have learned that there are methods I can utilize in my current practice. The first that would be used is SFBT. Solution focused brief therapy would be extremely beneficial for my client whom I am having difficulties with during our sessions together. Therefore, practice would ensure that everyone whom he encounters within the school setting can come together to know what goals my client has and having him continually working towards them throughout the week. I wouldn't want him to only work on them while I am there, but to ensure it happens daily. This can help him see the progress made and what areas he still needs to improve. Mainly, this can assist those working with him to keep him accountable to meet his goals. I truly believe the more supportive people he has that are helping him with his goals can improve on his behavior while it is existing in that room.Furthermore, based on the video I learned that I can switch roles with him so he can see what the sessions have been like for us both so far. I believe this can show him how important it is to take our sessions seriously and know that he has been referred to me for a reason. Next, having him see this as an example can really benefit him, seeing what it is like through my eyes and what he could improve on during our further sessions we have together. In other words, we can practice a role play to determine if we can find out what is going on and find what these possibilities are in improving those areas he has to work on. In result, if that didn't work I can try asking him the miracle question of what he would hope to see different in his life. Based on his answer, he has given me can help me understand where to take further
