Sociology is the study of social behavior of the human society. Along with a social pattern which includes a relationship, interaction with one another and cultures from different places in the world. While on the other hand there are different types of social science each one deals areas of a social interaction of a person.

With a survey is the best to use because you can collect a wide range of data on a massive scale with the data that you collect you too can make a statistical analysis which reveal the results of a multiple of variables measure that interact. Participant observation method is used when sociologist becomes a part of a group to study and collect data in order to understand a social phenomenon or a problem. A sociologist does this by either subjective participant and objective observer to collect their data. A controlled Experiment collecting data that is determined a pattern of cause and effect.

If I was conducting a sociological study, the research method that I would use survey. Because I can easily collect a massive amount of data with an in a small amount of time. By that I mean I can give about fifty people the same survey and collect their answers and make my own analysis in less amount of time. The theoretical approach that I would feel most comfortable using Qualitative research.
