Social Strata Research Paper

The social strata I would say I was born into would have to lower middle class. The reason why I would consider myself lower middle class my family basically almost lives paycheck to paycheck, and my father works three jobs at minimum wage, and my mother works almost all day cleaning houses. And it is not that we struggle month to month, but it just that we work so for so long and so hard for very little amount of money that is enough to pay all the bill with a little left over. Being born into this strata I think has helped me to really realize that not all of us have the privilege to have wealth, and that some of us do have to work harder than others. We continues fight for to find better opportunities for ourselves, and help others like us also find better opportunities, we must all stick together in order to succeed. In my opinion, it think it hard to move into a different strata in both ways, but much hard if I were to go to a lower one. Moving down would only cause us to have to work even more than we already do. We would have to sacrifice even more wants and use money on actual needs. My family and I are the types who don’t like to ask for help especially when it comes to money. For example, coming to college and being an RA has helped me a lot financially but I don’t make much money, and sometimes I get to a point where I only have a couple dollars in my account but refuse to ask my parents for money and would rather just wait until my next paycheck. My parents get so mad when they find out that I don't have money, but I just hate having to ask them since they already spend so much on me because of
