Many people point to healthy lifestyles as a way to improve health. However, there are other variables to consider such as (i.e) the effects of ethnicity and gender on medical treatments, the association of health providers behavior to patient adherence to treatment (Brown, 2016). I think whether people are healthy or not is also determined by their circumstances and environment. Factors such as the state of one's environment, education level and genetics all play a role on health. Yet, maintaining a healthy weight and incorporating meditation into daily life can help improve health too.
