First, in both cases political power is derived from the people. The Public is the main component for both which limit power and freedom to the Government. Second, separation of powers between the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government. Every branch has been given their power and responsibility. Third one is the idea of checks and balance which reflects a common concern that power of one branch is checked and balanced by other two branches. It saves one branch from having more power compared to others. The Last one is impeachment. In both cases, House of Representatives has power to charge on individual then senate conducts a trails, if two- third of people supported the trial then person is removed from the office.
