Egypt similarities with China Egypt and the Chinese Dynasties were more similar than different. Their most common similarities included their political, economic and cultural facts. Both of these civilizations had thrived a very long time ago, and managed to be grow and be successful. Both lands depended heavily on dynasties for leadership and to be able to maintain stability for many years. Their long and gracious survival can be explained by their similar political, economic, and social structure. Both these lands share common grounds when it comes to politics. Is it not a coincidence that both civilizations had developed near rivers? The Chinese were blessed with the Huanghe and Yangtze river, while the Egyptian culture developed near the Nile. With both lands being so close to a river, it enabled them to be rich in good soil, and have a stable agricultural economy. Another geographical advantage that both lands shared was that they were at ease when it came to war. There was never a worry about being invaded from the outside because both regions were well shielded within massive mountains and huge sees. Trading on the other hand, was a lot more difficult for these nations to execute because of their constant isolation. The fact that both of the cultures had hierarchy systems goes to show that they advanced and started improving. Within their Social system they gave the highest rankings to that of nobles and leaders. Most importantly Men had all the power within these civilizations to make choices and to enact rules. Men of high authority always controlled the land as a whole, or controlled family members within a family. In China, they shared very similar beliefs about family that the Egyptians had. They shared common beliefs when it came to prayers and sacrifices. The chinese believed that deceased family members would need to be praised and worshipped or else, they themselves could end up with an undesirable faith given by the dead family member. Similarly, Egyptians had constructed many temples to worship their own gods. They too believed in spirits, and believed the goal was to reach “the other world,” after they had died. When comparing the social beliefs of Egyptians and Chinese it is quite hard to see a difference, just the similarities pop up at you.
Egyptian and Chinese Dynasties had a surprisingly high amount of beliefs that were shared between them. As you have observed the common characteristics between both civilization,was they were founded off similar ideas when it came down to expanding as a civilization. With the rapid pace they had been advancing at, it is no wonder why many beliefs today
