Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X sustained the ideas of equality from the Bible. They both stressed that any person should refer to God at first, in order to find the right way for oneself. As it was said before, both of them were the leaders who spoke about the ideas of equality and ending the discrimination towards Afro-Americans. As a reason, Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were both threatened by the government for the ideas they supported. In their speeches, they used to talk a lot about dying for the concepts, they maintained. Furthermore, Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X claimed that Blacks should develop their businesses in order to reach the economic independence and be respected among white businessmen. and Malcolm X are known as important leaders in the Civil Rights movement. They wanted to make the life of Afro-American society better in order to be more respected. However, Martin Luther King Jr. followed rather calm concepts than Malcolm X in his way of fighting. In my opinion, nothing in this world can change. when one uses violent methods to achieve something. The childhood of Martin X greatly influenced on his further destiny and his own beliefs. Nevertheless, I support the concepts of the Martin Luther King Jr. During all his life he used to deem, that all the people are the children of God and he did everything in order to achieve the ending of violence and hate among the nationalities, genders whether religions. For today, people became an “armchair” experts and only few people are ready to discuss such a prominent topic as racial discrimination in public. In my opinion, a lot of leaders have to build their politics, based on Martin Luther King Jr. teaching. His inspiring speech “I have a dream” is always in my head when I hesitate to take the next step in order to succeed. He was honest to the community and, what is more important, to himself.
