Why would the Nepal Government allow inexperienced people to climb Mount Everest? Well the answer is easy, money. Although they didn’t that much experience, what matter the most was the amount of money they had to offer. In the eyes of the government it didn’t matter if they didn’t have experience nor if they amateurs. It all came down to one thing, money.…
According to the text, it says”And they got one climber off, and they crashed attempting to rescue the second man. ”(Heil, Lines 29-30) They didn’t even rescue the other climber so it wasn’t even worth it. The people rescuing the climber ended up dying so this means that there was no point in saving the climber because there would be even more deaths.…

These decisions should prevent deaths in climbers by inexperience, or medical issues, it should also help the government of Nepal, to conserve and protect Mt. Everest. I hope that this essay shows how I think approval to climb should be granted in the future, for safety and environmental…

If you are in a life or death situation, you're obviously going to want to live and not die. Unfortunately, some people make bad decisions but some people happen to be in the wrong spot at the wrong time and that can cause the death or injury of someone that is trying to help them. People in life or death situations should be held accountable for the cost of their actions because it puts others lives at risk, people can be smarter about their choices, but it’s not always intentional. Not everyone agrees that people should pay for the costs of their rescue mission because “when people believe that they are going to receive a large bill for an SAR mission, they delay a call for help or they refuse to call for help” (“The Cost of Survival” paragraph 5) and that can make the situation worse.…

Only certain people would try to help them out. We are responsible for the safety and the well being of others because we know that we could offer help. However, the public sometimes do not understand the outcome of such calls.…
Although, in France, they have a law called the “Good Samaritan” law which states that people are required to assist others in distress (Allred and Bloom 334). This law has both pros and cons in many ways. Requiring a citizen to help another person in distress could lead to many financial and personal battles. If the supposedly injured person dies at the hands of a bystander that tried to help people could assume that they killed the injured person. Also, if a bystander worsens…
The 1996 Everest Disaster of May 10th was one of the deadliest of the mountains history taking 8 lives in just two days. There was a total of three teams together making up 33 climbers to start with, 2 teams leaders died along with the other 6 victims only 25 survived. It was a storm that caused a majority of the deaths, made of freezing hurricane winds and moral decisions.
