Should Uniforms Be Taught In Schools Essay

The School of St.Labre Catholic Indian School has uniforms for its students but the students don’t like the uniforms because they say that it's dumb to wear uniforms. Also, the students of St.Labre want to uniforms out of the handbook and forgotten. Then why it matters to the students is because they think that it makes the school not that professional and makes us look weird. Also, that the uniforms (or what the students say) are too much for the school and they think that their spending to much money for the uniforms then for the sports program. Well for one important thing that some people think schools should have uniforms because it will bring out gang members and increase the bullying rate. But those facts are not really true only to the urban schools that the gang rate and the bully rate are high, but for schools that are in small towns everybody knows each other and if there are gangs and bullying everybody is going to know. Then why the community might think that the uniforms might or will look weird is because the students thinks that they’ll get picked on by the other schools in the community or to the other towns that they play against in sports. Also, the students are maybe willing to go the board (mayor, council, etc) to try to get rid of uniforms to prevent the bullying (picking on) from other schools and other towns during sports. Then, maybe if the students are willing to get rid uniforms they should not protest to the school, they should protest to the board because if they protest to the school they’ll probably get kicked out of school or hopefully get OSS for this kind of
