Should President Obama have changed the name of the highest mountain in Alaska from Mount McKinley to Denali? The tallest mountain in North America being changed after a long period of time can have some major dilemma. I believe we should change it back, it’s like erasing history. A rich white mountain, unlike others should keep its originality. President Obama should change the name back to the original name and keep it like it that. I believe we as people with opinions will always find a way to oppose the President. Yes, what a ridiculous thing to do, but that is what most of us would do if we had the power to. Whoever reads the news would get made about anyway. What difference does it make what I think about returning a mountain to its original people and original name? Well I think it’s just the right thing to do. If Obama had a mountain named after himself he would want to keep it its original name and not to something else completely different because it sounds better from this root word meaning “most high”. If it wasn’t for him it wouldn’t be possible for Obama to be president, or any president. People should amend to keeping the name the same. And besides climate changes all the time so, if that’s the cause of him to change the mountains name, then change Stone Mountain as
