City council cannot interfere with the lives of teenagers by enforcing a curfew because it effects not just them, but their entire household. It's no secret that teenagers get into a lot of trouble while they have the freedoms and privileges of driving a car. Teenagers find new ways to have fun that later lead to trouble. Adding a curfew to teenagers lives does not limit the opportunities to cause trouble. A curfew simply decreases the time period and makes teenagers get done what they have to do in a shorter period of time. Teenagers aren't looking for trouble while they are out late at night, they are looking for entertainment and something to do. Rather than installing a curfew for teenagers, it is a better idea to not let teenagers into some places and adding an age limit unless they are accompanied by an adult. A curfew is again an unnecessary restriction on people's lives. Government cannot control all aspects of someone's life. They can help monitor teenagers and they can keep them as safe as possible when they are out there, but city council has no right when to tell people they need to be in the house. That judgment should be left up to only the teenager
