ALICE AND THE SHY DRAGON
Alice was excited when her parent paid her excursion fee to the ancient castle. She was happy because she had long planned with her friends to visit the castle in the capital city. Days went by and the day to visit and the long awaited day came.
On getting there, they were told to go to the fruit garden to play, relax and have fun while they were there.
Alice and her friends like playing together, they played hide and seek game often, but she wasn’t enjoying it that much. She told her friends: let us go to the forest behind this castle. To her surprise, they didn’t respond although they heard her clearly.

Alice quickly thought of going back to her friends and call her Teacher. A second thought was to move forward and see those animals making those noises. She yielded to this thought. For the fact that she was shy she still loved those sounds made by the birds.
At that spot, a long snake wrapped itself on a tree. She did not know it was a snake initially, not until she moved closer. She recalled when her teacher was showing her pictures of different animals. She shouted Snake! Snake!! Snake!!! Nobody in the forest to come to her aid. As it was coming down from the tree, she was scared and ready to run, but the tension in her didn’t let her take a step. Immediately the snake lingered, she ran.
However, as she was running into the woods, she fell, and started crying. She had thought the walk in the woods would be fun. Beside the tree she was resting, was this giant dragon, it appeared like a nightmare. She was only familiar with the dragon in the video games and animation films on TV. She never thought it was real until she saw it with her

He further explained that she should have taken the paths when she was coming in, and the dragon demurred that was why it could not attack her. Hearing this, she was disturbed; without hesitating, she asked the man, how will such a huge dragon like that be scared of her? And the man promised to prove it to that to her.
On getting to the spot where she saw the dragon, the dragon had moved, and they could not find the dragon, but when they walk a little further, they found six of the dragons of various statures roaring at each other. The forest instructor asked her to identify the dragon she encountered on her way. She pointed at the dragon. She was able to identify the dragon because of its huge nature. The man told her to move closer to the dragon. She did and the dragon moved backward.
The forest instructor, then told her that the dragon is coy that is why the dragon could not attack her. He said to me you didn’t have to be a shy little girl. Next time learn to take the right path, be bold and be

This incident then took on a chain of effects, Bryn found out she is a dragon-shifter, but here is the catch, she is one of a kind, a hybrid of Blue and Red dragon. As you can guess from the description, Blue-ice, Red-fire (pretty simple and straight forward). Both of her parents are exiled from the Dragons society, because you aren't allow to crossbreed with another kind of dragon-shifter (I know, how backward is this). In this First Page of a Novel, I tried to use both direct and indirect characterization to kind of introduce the readers to the situation and kind of an idea of the main characters. I also tried to subtly let them in on the behavior, the mind set and language of the second narrator. I tried to show that the narrator was kind of humorous possibly a teenager with the statement “I apologize profusely for whatever boring narrative he has tortured you with” which kind of shows how moody all teenagers are and how they kind of see their parents, in this case, her father, as boring. I also attempted to show them that the narrator wasn’t the only character of importance but that she probably stumbled into the lives of the other characters. I attempted…
