One day, while laboring away in his fields, Shelldon heard a loud scuttling. He whipped around to see a colossal lobster! He yelled for Shellma, “Go get help from Mr. Shellman and his boys next door!” Shellma grabbed Shelly and ran down the road whilst Shelldon frantically dodged claws while trying to poke the lobster with his pitchfork. He kept this up for half an hour, and then Shellma arrived with Mr. Shellman and his 2 sons. The quintet managed to wrangle down the lobster, and put it down. “Well, at least we won’t have to worry about dinner tonight,” one of Mr. Shellman’s sons joked. After the group lugged the body of the lobster off, they surveyed the damage. All traces of Shelldon’s barn had all but vanished, and from what was left of the house, you would have thought it was made out of a few toothpicks. “What the shell?” Shelly exclaimed, earning a scolding look from her mother. With his world figuratively and literally destroyed, Shelldon took his family to bunk with Mr. Shellman’s house for the evening. Mrs. Shellman came running out, tears flowing down her face. “It’s gone! It’s all gone! They destroyed the farm, and then they left in the direction of the… the…” Mrs. Shellman burst into tears. However, she didn’t need to finish her sentence. Shelldon could see the heaps of debris and wreckage forming a path towards the center of the reef, where the castle is. The two families decided to camp out for the night, and then they would head towards the castle in the morning. They salvaged what they could from the splintered and battered remains of the Shellman’s farm, and made camp. When they woke, they packed what little belongings they could carry, and headed out. After a trek that lasted for what seemed like an eternity, they finally reached what was left of the central kingdom.
