The story begins with two king brothers that learn that their wives are adulterous. Angered and embarrassed by the actions of their wives, the kings set out on a journey to travel to other kingdoms... They encountered the Jinnee and the beautiful trapped woman. Fearful for their lives, the kings engaged in sexual activities with the trapped woman, as per her demands. It is at this point, having witnessed enough and feeling that they have learned a lesson from the actions of the trapped woman, that the kings call off the remainder of their journey. Returning to his kingdom, King Shahriyar murders his wife and the accomplice, slaves and vows to marry a virgin bride each night and behead her in the morning. After 3 years of the king making good on his vow, there are but only two virgins left for the king, Shahrazad, and Dunyazad, the vizier's daughters. Accomplished and was well versed in the history of the ancient kings, Shahrazad felt that she could deliver the rest of the woman from a deadly fate and she would risk her life trying. She devised a plan to tell the king her tales in hopes that the king would spare her an additional day with each story. From this point forward the reader is invested in each story hoping that the next one will be as good as the last for the sake of Queen
