Looking at this construct through theism one is “looking at behaviors and mental processes of persons as understood in Christian texts and traditions of interpretation” (Johnson, 2010, p. 87). The problem for this construct will be ‘ways self-presenting causes divorces’. The hypothesis for this problem will be ‘self-presentation does cause marriages to end in divorce’. Once again this study will consist of fifty randomly selected couples who are evaluated by questionnaires and in-person interviews over a five year period. The data shows that couples fight more when they are not able to be who they really are. From the data collected it is concluded that people who self-present in their marriages end up becoming someone they are not leading to more
