Born in the Bronx, New York City on July 24, 1969, in a Puerto Rican household Jennifer was searching for her big role that would make her a household name. According to biography.com, Jennifer danced on In Living Color, however, that did not ensue her a hit role. It was not until 1997 her big role came in the iconic movie, Selena.
