Over the years, schools have heavily enforced dress code to address a wide range of issues. Today, most states have laws that allow school boards to make dress code rules for students within their district to promote a safe, disciplined school environment, prevent interference with school work and discipline, and to encourage uniformity of student dress (school). Dress code helps prepare young adults for a future job that requires a certain dress code or possible uniform. As children continue to grow, their clothes will no longer fit and they will need new ones. At the beginning of the school year, going out and buying new clothes get very expensive the older the child gets repeating this every year gets very difficult because of the amount of money just invested in the clothes for that school year, without the cost of books, school lunches, and extra curricular activities. School itself is very expensive and buying new clothes shouldn’t be a necessity, that's why many schools are starting to make their students wear school
