The camp you will be staying at is off the coast of Southern California and is on the North Western side of Catalina. It is 22 miles from Los Angeles which is where you board the ship that takes you to Catalina. When you are outside (or sometimes even when you are inside), the temperature is normally really warm and sometimes humid so I would suggest bringing and applying sunscreen in the morning and after every meal. Some of the native plants are eucalyptus trees, pine trees, moss, and cherry trees. The cherries that are on Catalina Island are different than what we are used to.…

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in the wild? Do you envision dangerous animals and food cooked over a fire you had to build? One way that you can have that experience is by camping on a nature preserve or at a large lake. Having spent many years going to North Devon for holidays or to visit family, I had never until about two years ago ever visited the area that is known as Croyde Bay. Situated on the road out of Braunton (which is its nearest largest village hub with lots of shops and other services), it is on the coast that faces the Atlantic Ocean. How to get here For most people who are travelling from anywhere in the country apart from Cornwall, then access to Croyde is generally through Barnstaple - the main North Devon Link Road leads from Junction 27 of the M5 directly through to Barnstaple; you then follow signs to Braunton and Ilfracombe, and then Croyde and its neighbouring village Georgeham are signposted from here. If you are coming from Cornwall, then access is by way of the A39 Atlantic Highway which leads to Bideford - you then have to go through Barnstaple, and follow instructions as above (this trunk road also follows a more windy route to the M5 too but would take you a lot longer).…

A park that offers a place for the town’s residents to take their pets for walks, hang out in the gazebo or picnic tables, play sports, indulge in markets and events, splash in the water pad, and more, all with the comfortability of park Wi-Fi and security of cameras. With accessibility to many activities, the park carries a welcoming vibe to new comers who are looking for a place to maybe take a walk or play with friends or family and hang in the sunlight. A closer observation of the park however will discover issues of location, privacy, technology, environmental concerns, and a disassociation between age and social groups of Sackville’s town members. The park does have its many appealing…

Since my blog title is "The Unstressed," I'd like to suggest one of my favorite places to get, well, unstressed. If you are ever in the United States and happen to travel to Chicago, Illinois, don't forget to check out one of the best golf courses in Chicago--at the Chevy Chase Country Club. This is a true favorite of mine. Not only is the golf course 100 percent pro in every aspect, the green is found in the middle of some of the most picturesque scenery you'll ever find in a golf course setting.…
