Each country has the depressed history that they don't want to talk about but can't be allowed to forget. In 1937 , Nanking, China, 300000 Chinese be killed by the Japanese army. This event be called Nanking Massacre. I don't know how many foreigners have read this part of the Chinese history before. But each Chinese won't forget what happened in 1937s. The massacre lasted six weeks. Japanese killed thirty-thousand Chinese in six weeks. How we remember this part history so clearly? Because if you go to Nanking, everywhere you can see "VICTIMS 300000" and at December thirteenth we will stand in silent tribute for the people who was killed in Nanking Massacre each year. History is a kind of truth because it can't be changed. For example, German start the World War Two and killed oodles of Jewish people. After German be defeated, they apologized what they did to Jews and apologized for the war. Their apologies can't do anything actually. The people who was killed by them can't revive. The scars which they already gave to can't be cured. But they face the truth and recognized what they already done. They showed their regret and guilt. The only thing they can do is confession and atonement. But someone refuse to face the truth and refuse to apologize, even they thing they didn't do anything wrong.
