They have earned us our freedom and our rights, and even continue to help even after leaving the battlefield, whether by actively playing a role in their community or going on living the lives they earned for America. Having no veterans would signify no victorious battles or even fights to begin with. The veterans that America celebrates show that America stood and still stands for values and independence. They play a key role in history- who ever read a textbook that didn’t mention ferocious warriors or soldiers conquering forgotten cities?- and create our future at the same time.…

It is believed that on these days the veil to separating the afterworld and earth is weakened and so the souls can visit their families. On the 1st the souls are believed to come visit and on the 2nd families go to the cemetery and decorate their loved one’s grave in honor of them. I found this strange at first but, a couple of years ago after my great-grandmother died and then later after a close friend died I could see the value of this holiday tradition. This is the day that those who still remain on earth can honor their loved ones who are no longer here. Do you think that maybe just maybe the government focuses way too much attention towards funding the military instead of troops that have returned with some kind of disability or mental issue? I believe that the government is making a huge mistake on how they are granting health care towards a big group of individuals who fought for our country and for them not to be able to receive the proper care is a disgrace. These veterans should be established the best of care just for the simple fact that they have fought for our freedom and have gone through tough situations, which could be death related. The government as well does not offer enough…
