Aphrodite is the goddess of love, desire and beauty. No one is really sure who Aphrodite’s parents are? The most common theories are that one of her pare- nts is Poseidon the god of the sea because Aphrodite was born out of the sea on a scallop, the other theory is that Zeus and
Dione are Aphrodite's parents.
Aphrodite was married to He-
Phaestus, is the god of black- smiths, sculptors, metallurgy, fire and volcanoes. Aphrodite's
Sacred are a dove, swan, and a sparrow. Many gods thought that Aphrodite was so beautiful that she could start a war of the gods.
Aphrodite had a son named Cupid the god of desire. Aphrodite has a lot of titles like Lady Cythera or Lady Cyprus. She also has many symbols for example Dolphin, Rose, Scallop Shell, Myrtle, Dove, Sparrow, Girdle, Mirror, and Swan. Aphrodite has 15 kids Eros, Phobos, Deimos, Harmonia,
Pothos, Anteros,Himeros,Hermaphroditos, Rhode, Eryx, Peitho, Eunomia, The Graces, Priapus and Aeneas. During the Trojan War Aphrodite was on paris’s side the son of the King of Troy. Aphrodite has her own temple in greece called Temple of Aphrodite.

When she was confident in her capability to enchant people and gods in the sea she wanted to see how she would do will the gods on land. Aphrodite first headed to the island of Cythera then the island of Cyprus Aphrodite became a master at making people like her or fall in love with her. All the goddesses were jealous of her at first, but then Aphrodite taught the other goddesses how to what she did.
