I'm going to talk about the Ming Dynasty. I will take a closer look at the Government, the Religion and Lifestyle. I want to compare the Government in the Ming Dynasty to the Government in modern China. I also want to know if there were any big differences in Religions in China itself, in the Ming Dynasty and today. I'm also interested in how the Ruler and his People lived. As well list his good and bad leading qualities and my opinion on his ruling and his laws. Additionally I want to do research on how he became a leader and how he fell, how he died and on his family.

The Hongwu Emperor was the first one and he reigned from September 23rd of 1368 to June 24th of 1398. His Given name was Zhū Yuánzhāg (朱元璋). He was born (with the name Zhu Yuanzhang) on October 21st 1328 into a poor peasant family. He had seven older Siblings, several of them were given away when they didn't have enough food to provide. When he was 16 a river flooded the land he and his family lived on. Then a Plague killed his entire family except one of his brothers. When he buried them he wrapped them in white clothes. Because of a Pledge his father made, he became a Monk in the Huangjue Temple. He was forced to leave because of fund shortage. After that he was a beggar for a few years. He returned to the temple and stayed there until he was about 24 years old. He learned to read and write. He died on June 24th at the age of 69, after he had reigned for 30 years.
