For Reading and Comprehension I chose when my class read the Scarlet Ibis in September. The assignment was to read a short story about two brothers but one of them named Doodle was disabled, and the older brother was helping the little brother to learn how to walk since he couldn't due to his disability but at the end the little brother Doodle had passed away. We read this story to see how it relates to the unit we were learning about which was love. My class and I read the short story and annotate what we have read. My annotations consisted of making personal connections to my own life, humanity traits such as survival, and loss. It also consists of questions I had about the reading on parts I was confused about.
