Lifespan development was the aging paradigm I chose to focus on throughout this paper for three primary reasons: I have learned that how we age often develops on how we have react to our life experiences in earlier times such as childhood and middle adulthood, how we cope with stress and depression throughout life, and how we develop connections with those who support us in any type of relationship. Lifespan theory gave a clear definition as to how this can effect how someone ages overtime. Lifespan theory gives reasoning as to why we react to certain life events the way we do. Often times, we react in a way that we have seen or we have learned throughout our life. Each year of life is a building block of lessons and how we react and learn from those lessons in life will reflect in how we eventually age
