At age 40, though you are in the evening of your life but it is not the end. You can still make difference before your time. Let me take you through significant meaning of number 30 and 40. John the Baptist, Jesus Christ (Lk 3:23), Aaronic Priest all began their ministry at 30. Joseph, a type of Jesus, was thirty years old when Egypt’s Pharaoh placed him in charge over all that he ruled. King David began to reign over Israel at 30. (2 Samuel 5:4) Further to number 40, it was mentioned 146 times in scripture, and symbolizes a period of testing, trial or probation. During Moses life he lived forty years in Egypt and forty years in the desert before God selected him to lead his people out of slavery. It’s a number or age bracket to move out of mental slavery, financial slavery, and out of mediocrity. It’s the time you cannot joke with life. The number 40, represent a generation of man or future. It depicts how your future will be like. Your success is link with motivation, passion and creativity acquired from age 30 to 40. At age 30, you cannot continue to depend on your parents or become a burden to the people around you but rather the age to attain mental maturity to handle your responsibilities in life. You need to accept and own your mistakes by focusing on the need to make a difference. Set the pace right and open up to your calls in life. At 40, you are in the period of trials, test and probation. And that’s all it is in life. Life is a Test, Trust and Transition. Your will in life is well cherished and grounded at 40. It represents your generation, your children’s destiny and future. And it’s one of the reasons why you cannot afford to fail yourself or disappoint them. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. During age 40, you are already in the evening of your life and you need extra light to your unfinished business. That’s why basic needs must be fulfilled before age 40.
