With the school year coming to a close I figure d I had everything down, having good grades for three quarters made the fourth quarter look like a breeze. During the fourth quarter as the year began to come to a close finals week arrived sooner than I had hoped and before I knew it I was sitting at my desk with the clock ticking away the minutes I had left to make or break my grade. As the steady sound of the hands against the clock ticked away I began to stress for the first time this year on my choices for this school year. Some things in life cannot be changed and it is what you make of that failure that defines your character and dictates your future. Failure is a difficult thing to process at times yet helps shape each person's character into adulthood.
In conclusion, this event changed my outlook I had on life by evaluating my decisions and their impact on myself and others. It is my goal to succeed in school for the future but it is no ones responsibility but my own to achieve my goal by working hard each day to achieve my long term goal of attending college. To reach this goal it is my responsibility to work harder so that failure isn’t an option, failure is inevitable but each decision I make will affect my future so in order to be successful in the future I must evaluate each decision and their long term
