I studied architecture in University and after graduating with my degree; I started working as a home construction worker. It’s all about supply and demand: less supply, more demand. This business is extremely competitive and challenging. It’s important to follow up with your clients and create a strong relationship with them.
4. How do you deal with rejection?
In this business rejection is a daily part of the job. I work with people and therefore I encounter people who aren’t the nicest, but that just motivates me to work harder.
5. What’s your favorite part about being a real estate agent?
My favorite part is being able to help people make a significant decision in their life. I’ve realized that when a client, especially families, are selling their homes, it can be emotional due to the memories that are attached to their home. Whereas, when the client is buying a home, it’s extremely exciting. I enjoy being there for both experiences and giving the best advice possible.
6. Were you always interested in being a real estate agent?
No, it wasn’t my first choice. I studied architecture for 6 years and then as life went on I found my self in this field. I saw the potential I had in this business and used some of the tools I learned from my degree, in my current job.
