Growing up, my family and I weren’t very religious by any means. My parents grew up in Catholic families, but when they moved away from their families, they moved away from God too. Every time we were stationed in a new place, my parents always blamed not going to church on the military and how we would always be moving. My sister and I didn’t mind this, because we didn’t really know what church was, and didn’t understand the meaning of it, but when we moved to Louisiana in 2012, I met a friend that would change this. I met this girl Samantha, who seemed to be in a few of my classes.…

When I transitioned out of Mennonite middle school, I was thrown into the deep end at a school where I knew no one and I couldn’t rely on Bible class to support my values. In all honesty, I lost my way.…

Citizens being ethnically diverse is an excuse to make others feel left out or treated inadequately in society. Grant was an African-American man who got a decent education but was still treated less than the average white man, it also did not help that he did not think of religion to be as important as the rest. The start of Grant being involved into the society is because what happened to a young African-American man named Jefferson, he was accused of first degree murder and guilty of robbery.…
