A quote from Elie Wiesel say “ There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.” Perhaps racism is slowing down from the growing number of activists, but what these people are really doing is stirring up the people. Making racist people act more mean and aggressive toward minorities. This also could make some black people mad and fire up the activists again.
But the political climate encouraging discrimination has been rapidly increasing. The reason of that is because high government politicians are saying it's okay to be racist. For instance, Donald Trump says he wants to kick out all Mexicans from the United State. It’s not only people in government influencing racism, but it’s also government departments, such as the labor department. In addition, overall charges of discrimination in the government was 38 percent of the total complaints.
In conclusion, racism is a daily problem on college campuses, and all over the United States. Not only because of the brutality and discrimination towards minorities that is influencing racism that need to be resolved, but also people in your hometown that are being treated differently, because of their
