Public Service Program

The Law and Public Service Program is directed to students with interests in history, politics, government, and law. Students have to demonstrate abilities like leadership, compassion, respect, and pride. I am intrigued about learning in this program and believe that I could be a good model and representation of what a student learning in the Law and Public Service program should be. Being a leader is not always directing people in the right direction, leaders have to have enthusiasm and be helpful. During my experience in Eisenhower Middle School, I have participated in school sports like soccer and cheerleading. I especially enjoy learning about what we are studying this year in eighth grade. This year we are researching more about America and how it came to be. Studying the American government and American laws is something that I want to do because I really want to expand my knowledge and know what is happening in our country around us. My dad is a lawyer and he talks about his experience in court and his trials. When my dad talks about going to court, it sounds like a fun experience and it sounds rewarding for him and his clients. I want to attend a high school that will provide learning experiences that will be interesting to me like going to court and getting involved with trials. I want to learn more about politics and law and assisting others, this program would teach me about these topics. All in all, I want to be able to increase my leadership skills and learn more about the world itself. It would be in my best interest to be accepted into the Colts Neck Law and Public Service Program. This program will affect me as a leader and a student and will direct and point me towards the right direction in my life and most importantly, it will allow me to help
