One must receive either an Associate 's or a Bachelor 's degree in a state-approved educational program. But before that there are certain classes called prerequisites you have to take before applying for Nursing school. Associate degree programs can be done at community colleges or junior colleges. I can get receive their ADN (Associates Degree in Nursing) and then can either obtain their nursing license by passing the National Council licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) or acquire a Bachelor 's degree in Nursing. This is the route that people usually take because it is a higher chance that a hospital or medical center will accept someone with a BSN than an ADN. You also get to educate them on how to avoid or prevent diseases and injuries to oneself. The cons is that it may get hectic in a hospital during or after holidays because people will tend to get injured from doing stuff they are not suppose to do. For example, people tend to get drunk and then they are either drunk driving or doing dangerous stunts with fireworks or off and high place. Another con is that you have to learn to be patient with people. It can get frustrating when someone doesn 't want to cooperate, but you just have to bare with it enough till they let you help them.
I believe I will be good at this occupation, because I am used to stress and will be able to handle the long hours of exhaustion. I am great at being empathetic with other people, and like to listen to what people have to say and I think this will help me when helping doctors find a proper health care plan. I also think that I will enjoy being a nurse, mainly because it will never get boring. No two days will be the same and there will always be someone that needs a helping hand and I am willing to step in to help someone feel
