Professor Armbruster grew up in a small town in Connecticut, about 1.5 hours from New York City. She went to college outside of Philadelphia to two small schools called Haverford & Bryn Mawr. I really enjoyed seeing her again and just remembering all the great times I had with her last semester in English 216. This interview actually helped me to get to know professor armbruster more as a person and realized that she overcame many things in order to be in position she is now. I also really like her famous saying if someone ask you, what could you do with a English degree? She says one should respond by simply saying, one could do anything as long as he/she knows how to read, write, and think clearly. I love this short, humorous authentic and sassy quote.
