Most common social networking sites are Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Classmates etc. Facebook is one of the most popular social networking sites with frequently growing number of users. Many researchers investigate the usability about privacy and security of facebook. Deirdre O’brien and Ann M. Torres (2012) investigate in their research paper about Facebook users’ perceptions of online privacy, exploring user awareness about privacy issues and how their actions is control by this awareness, as well as the role of trust in social networking environment. Security is one of the things which never compromise in any condition. Now a day’s security of Facebook is become a serious issue. Numbers of crimes are increases because people are not aware of Facebook privacy policies. They don’t know, what they are share on social networking sites some time that information misuses against them. Criminal take users personal information and use it to fulfill their evil purposes. Users never read the terms and conditions that they accepted before joining the Facebook. This study is about to check female users perception about privacy and security of Facebook. For usability testing a questionnaire will be conducted from 200 female students that are based on security and privacy of Facebook. Half of users belong to computer science background and other is non-computer science students. Some security and privacy related task set are also defined for these female students and ask them to perform these tasks and investigate their behavior.
