On August 31, 1997 Princess Diana, Dodi Fayed, and Henri Paul were killed in a car crash Paris, France, at the Pont de Alma tunnel. This incident was reported as a regular car crash, but others have many other theories. Theories say that there was a jealous ex/or relative. News was heard that Prince Phillip wanted her dead. He wanted her dead because the risk of marriage/ and or pregnancy with Dodi Fayed. He didn’t want to risk her marrying a Muslim-Egyptian man. With that in mind, he had arranged for the MI6 to kill them both.
Dodi’s father, Mohamed Al-fayed, said that Diana and Dodi were planning to announce their engagement to the world. Mohamed thinks that when Prince Charles heard of that that he got jealous and planned to kill them both, to prevent their marriage. Even though Dodi wanted to get married to Diana, some wanted otherwise. The “people” didn’t want to see Dodi as a step-father to the future king of England. “They” wouldn’t want to see an Egyptian, naturally tanned, curly-haired man as a step-father to Diana’s sons. Mohamed Al Fayed his father even said that the royal family ‘could not accept that an Egyptian Muslim could eventually be the step-father of the future king of England.’ There was fear that Diana had already made up her mind and secretly converted to a Muslim. It was said that Diana agreed to wear the traditional hijab, an Islamic modesty clothing, on her head. "Recite the Fatiha [the opening chapter of the Qur'an] for the soul of Diana" read one headline, implying that she was a Muslim at the time of her death. Or another: "Murder was the easiest solution for the British government to deal with a Muslim princess." It was also established that Diana couldn’t be with a man who wasn’t Christian because the royal family wouldn’t accept her. The royal family would expect for her to marry a Christian because that was practiced much in Britain that she would follow. “Diana had to be killed because the British government could not accept the mother of the future king involved with a Muslim Arab; or marrying him; …show more content…

But, according to some sites, it is told that the British has never had a problem with a Christian-Muslim relationship. The only problematic relationship was a Christian-Catholic one. “British royalty have always been allowed to marry Muslims, Jews or Hindus, but marrying Catholics has been banned since 1701. That was back when Catholics were seen as a threat to the English crown.”
According to Channel4.com, marrying Muslims has never been a problem. The only problem back then was marrying Catholics. It was said that Roman Catholics had the same status as al-Qaeda, a terrorist group ran by Osama bin Laden. Marrying someone from a different religion was never given idea, so there was no need for a law.
“…a royal heir can marry a spouse from any religion in the world, or no religion, and not lose succession rights. These rights are lost to the heir and all descendants if he or she marries a Catholic. This is iniquitous and unjustly discriminatory. It needs to be
