Once analyzed using a continuum based on a scale in which one is excellent and five is poor, the data will prove whether or not a school is ready to implement a Positive Behavior Support System. The questionnaire covers the five Scales relating to implementing a PBSS program at in the school. The average for each scale indicates how prepared a school is to implement a PBSS program taking into account different accountability, organizational, or motivational levels.

Lacy Elementary School would benefit greatly from staff development involving the responsive classroom method. Responsive classroom training would lead to better student teacher relationships thus opening the doorway to an overall better learning environment (Baroody et al., 2014). Teachers would leave the staff development session ready to utilize responsive classroom techniques with their students in order to facilitate a more positive classroom environment and build a positive relationship with students. Staff at Lacy Elementary School will receive information about the basics of a responsive classroom, as well as participating in simulations to assist them in the practice and concepts related to responsive teaching. In order to completely understand this topic, a PowerPoint will be utilized to inform staff of basic information regarding responsive classrooms. Handouts and references will be shared with staff via Google Drive. Staff will also participate in simulation activities to assist them in gaining verbal tools to use in the classroom. Staff will also create a tool kit to use in the classroom. This tool kit would be catered to the specific teacher’s grade level, because each grade has their own issues to deal with. The tool kit would consist of lesson plans to teach appropriate social skills, posters to remind students on
